The Central Illinois Nature Challenge team is gearing up for lots of observations on the weekend of April 24 to 27, 2026!
We've set up our iNaturalist project already with all these counties included:

Iroquois County
LaSalle County
Livingston County
Logan County
Macon County
Marshall County
Mason County
McLean County
Menard County
Moultrie County
Peoria County
Piatt County
Putnam County
Sangamon County
Shelby County
Tazewell County
Vermilion County
Woodford County
Is your County on the list? If so, all you have to do to participate is to make observations and upload them to iNaturalist anywhere in any of these counties on April 24 through 27. No need to find or join the project because any entry of any wild organism in any of these Counties created during the challenge will count!
